Hydrofix contributed to the successful implementation of BT’s R100 project by providing construction support personnel, including an onshore Project Surveyor and field-based teams to the nearshore installation contractor. Our expertise in nearshore survey and construction support activities ensured a smooth execution to the project.
As the Client’s Geoscience Consultant, our comprehensive management and supervision of the survey activities guaranteed reliable data and reporting to enable our Client and the Purchasing Client to be fully informed to allow quick decision making during the installation programme. This was further aided via efficient data dissemination through an online GIS portal.
BT’s ambitions of extending superfast broadband coverage to remote areas of Scotland is well underway!
